I am a fourth year student at the University of Rhode Island, majoring in Biology. My whole life I have pushed myself to excel in any task I set out to accomplish. I have also always prided myself on my ability to connect with people and my genuine desire to care for them and their stories. While trying to figure out what I wanted to do in life, I took these aspects of myself into account and have started down the path to becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I believe whole-heartedly, especially with the backing of the experience of a full summer internship at Rhode Island and Hasbro Children's Hospitals, that I am chasing the right career both for myself and for my future patients.  |
